19th-century blind- and gilt-tooled full maroon goatskin over paper boards (28 x 20.5 cm), sewn on 5 supports by Chambolle-Duru, with the Bibliothèque de Mello armorial on each board. Marbled paper pastedowns and fly leaves, with plain paper fly leaves; decorative endbands; all edges gilt.
