Binding
19th-century retrospective binding of elaborately gilt-tooled black and red leather, with central bosses on each board with Medici cardinal armorial and brass corner pieces with cardinal-hat bosses, likely by Hagué. Elaborate gilt and gauffered edges. 2 clasps.
