18th-century French gilt-tooled red morocco over paper boards (33.5 x 25 cm), sewn on 5 supports. Red paper pastedowns and endleaves, with plain paper endleaves; decorative endbands; gilt edges.
Inscriptions/Markings
Hand decoration: Contemporary French rubrication, gilt initials and paragraph marks on red ground and yellow capital strokes. Woodcuts are hand colored, following woodcut image. Annotations: No marginal notations in text.
