Binding
18th-century Dutch sprinkled calf over heavy paper boards (28.5 x 21 cm), sewn on 6 supports, with gilt-tooled spine; repaired by Duprez Lahey. Plain paper pastedowns and endleaves; decorative endbands; sprinkled edges.
Inscriptions/Markings
Hand decoration: Woodcuts hand colored, some with gilt highlights. Contemporary red rubrication, initials and capital strokes; initial on leaf [26]/1r with red filigree penwork typical of Netherlandish style. Annotations: One contemporary (16th century?) marginal Dutch notation (leaf [36]/2r). Manuscript title, 18th-19th century (leaf [1]/1r, on modern paper leaf backing).
