19th century French full red goatskin with gilt-tooled turn-ins over heavy paper boards (33.5 x 23.5 cm), sewn on 6 supports by Hardy-Mennil. Marbled paper pastedowns and fly leaves with plain paper fly leaves; decorative endbands; gilt edges.
Inscriptions/Markings: 

Hand decoration: Rubrication unrealized. Annotations: Running headlines and foliation, 16th century. A few contemporary marginal notations, washed/faded, and a few Greek words added to text in manuscript.
