Binding: 
Contemporary blind-stamped pigskin over wooden boards (30.5 x 20.5 cm), sewn on 3 supports (perhaps by the Mainz Benediktiner workshop or "Zu Bamberg"). Plain paper pastedowns (with offprint from wet sheets of this edition) and fly leaves; plain endbands. 2 clasps and rear board chain, wanting. Contemporary vellum title label on top board, with painted frame.
Inscriptions/Markings: 

Hand decoration: Rubricated, red lombards, paragraph marks, capital strokes, and underlining; illuminated initial and bas-de-page foliate border decoration (leaf [2]/1r). Annotations: Heavily annotated in several contemporary hands; list of printing errors in contemporary ms hand (front pastedown). Additional quire [*1¹²] of manuscript material added between quires [1] and [2], including Cassiodorus, De propria psalmorum laude. Leather tabs at fore edge. Manuscript title on bottom edge.
