18th-century Austrian (Salzburg) blind-stamped pigskin over wooden boards (47 x 34 cm), sewn on 5 supports, with the gilt armorial of Abbot Beda Seeauer (1716-1785, abbot from 1753), dated 1753. Plain paper pastedowns; decorative endbands; red edges. 2 clasps.
