18th/19th-century half red goatskin over paper boards with sides covered in marbled paper (29.5 x 20 cm), sewn on 4 supports. Marbled paper pastedowns and fly leaves with plain paper fly leaves; decorative endbands; edges stained yellow.
Inscriptions/Markings
Hand decoration: Rubricated, red lombards, paragraph marks, and L-brackets. Large lombards with red filigree penwork decoration. Annotations: Heavily annotated in a contemporary/early-16th century hand but washed/bleached. Headline with roman numeral for book number.
