Modern full brown goatskin, blind-stamped in a pastiche of an early style, over paper boards (29.5 x 20 cm), sewn on 5 supports by Riviere & Son. Plain paper pastedowns and fly leaves; plain endbands.

Hand decoration: Rubrication unrealized. Annotations: Three contemporary/early-16th century marginal notations in text, including "Carte 178 quinterni 18" (leaf [18]/8v).
