20th-century quarter black goatskin, with paper sides, over paper boards (20.5 x 14.5 cm), sewn on 3 supports by Duprez-Lahey. Plain paper pastedowns and endleaves; plain endbands.
Inscriptions/Markings: 

Hand decoration: Rubrication unrealized (a few initial completed at a later date). Annotations: A few underlinings in text and 1 marginal notation at "Phenix" (leaf b5v). Unidentified early inscription: "Primus amor invenum furor inmode his [?]ieret / Quo tamen euisto postea nullus e[??]" (leaf [a]1r).
