Modern paper pastedowns and endleaves, with older vellum endleaves; plain endbands. Brass edge pieces and 2 clasps.

Hand decoration: Red paragraph marks and yellow capital strokes. Annotations: Contemporary French marginal notations on textual action, sporadically throughout. Profile drawings and pen trials, with "Sansuous -Rolle-," 16th century (vellum front endleaf verso).
