Contemporary blind-tooled leather (sheep?) over wooden boards (30.2 x 21.5 cm), sewn on three double supports by the Weihenstephan Benedictine Abbey, 1466-1476 (EBDB w002276); 2 clasps, corner, and center bosses wanting. Plain paper pastedowns and contemporary paper front fly leaf; plaited leather endbands.
Inscriptions/Markings: 

Hand decoration: Rubricated: red lombards, some tituli, capital strokes, and brackets; lombards on leaf [1]/1r with red flourishing. Annotations: Marginal annotations dividing sermons and manicules. Contemporary inscriptions on front pastedown and fly leaf regarding sermons in collection. Late sixteenth/seventeenth-century headlines and pagination. Fifteenth-century quire numeration on first folio.
