Contemporary German (Constance?) blind-stamped half pigskin over wooden boards (31.5 x 21 cm.), sewn on 3 supports. Plain paper fly leaf at front. One clasp, wanting. 15th-century document used as reinforment for rear hinge: "R[e]verendo in [christ]o p[at]ri ac d[omi]no d[omi]no Hainrico ep[iscop]o Const[ance?] seu ei[us] vica[r]io in sp[irit]ualib[us] g[e]n[er]ali.
