19th-century French full red goatskin over paper boards (13.5 x 9.5 cm.), sewn on 5 supports by Niédrée; hinges repaired. Marbled paper pastedowns and endleaves, with plain vellum endleaves; decorative endbands; gilt edges.
Inscriptions/Markings: 

Hand decoration: Contemporary French rubrication, gilt initials on red ground, alternating red and blue initials, with [infinity symbol] line fillers. Annotations: 18th-century foliation and contents list (rear endleaf 1 recto).
