18th-century English red morocco with gilt-tooled border and turn-ins over paper boards (29 x 21 cm.), sewn on 5 supports. Marbled paper pastedowns and fly leaves, with plain paper fly leaves; decorative endbands; all edges gilt.
Inscriptions/Markings: 

Hand decoration: Rubricated, red lombards. Annotations: Minimal notations in text. 15th-century inscription (leaf [5]/8r): "Gratulatio. Et si Iam pridem [run?]sa mihi nihil nec suggerere nec dictare volutisses..."
