              Hand decoration: Contemporary rubrication, red initials and paragraph marks (on leaf [1]/1 only). Annotations: Contemporary French inscriptions: 2 quatrains: "Bien ala consciance dure / Et meth son [??] en grat ordure / Pour ce monde qui peu dure / Pert paradis qui tou swurs [i.e. jours?] dure / ...," 15th/16th century (front endleaf 2 verso) and illegible inscription: "do d[???] Go[??] my dm" (leaf [8]/10v).
