Parish church in Merry-la-Vallée (Burgundy), France(?), fifteenth/sixteenth-century inscription, partially trimmed: "[?] Regis Curatus in Meera (Merriacum?) emit hunc librum" (leaf [1]/1r); Jacob Scheffer (d. 1796), of s'Hertogenbosch (i.e. Bois le Duc), sold in 1780 (note on verso of 3rd fly leaf); Theodore Irwin (1827-1902); Pierpont Morgan (1837-1913), purchased with the Irwin collection, 1900.
