19th-century (Netherlandish?) blind-tooled diced calf, in a pastiche of an early style, over partially bevelled wooden boards (28 x 20.5 cm), sewn on 4 supports. Plain paper pastedowns and endleaves; red edges. 2 clasps.

Hand decoration: Contemporary Netherlandish rubrication, red initials, paragraph marks, capital strokes, and underlining; initial on leaf a2r painted in red and blue with green foliate border. Woodcuts and printer's mark colored by hand. Annotations: No marginal notations in text.
