Contemporary German blind-stamped calf over wooden boards (31 x 20.5 cm.), sewn on 4 supports by the Blumenstock I workshop, Nuremberg (EBDB w002165, Kyriss 116, a.k.a. Hieronymus Münzer-Meister, active 1472-1490). Corner pieces and central boos; 2 clasps, 1 wanting. Plain paper pastedowns; plain endbands; edges colored yellow. Later spine label: "Aulus Gellius 1849."
Inscriptions/Markings: 

Hand decoration: Rubricated, alternating red and blue lombards and paragraph marks (consistent through both works). Annotations: Marginal notes and foliation by Münzer (consistent through both works) and note on title of Noctes Atticae: Quare hic liber sortiat[ur] nomen et titulu[m] noctiu[m] atticaru[m] vide ca[pitu]lu[m] xi libri xviiii (leaf AA1r).
