Early 19th-century English blind- and gilt-tooled red straight-grained morocco over paper boards (41 x 30 cm), sewn on 6 supports. Brown paper pastedowns and endleaves, with plain paper and vellum endleaves; decorative endbands; gilt edges.
Inscriptions/Markings
Hand decoration: Rubrication unrealized. Annotations: Contemporary marginal notations in an Italian hand, throughout, often extensive. Contemporary foliation.
