Contemporary blind-tooled pigskin over wooden boards (30.2 x 21 cm), bound in Ingolstadt by Jerg Wirffel, ca. 1467-89, EBDB workshop w000052 (in the Einbanddatenbank online, consulted on July 30, 2009); Kyriss 69. 2 clasps, square clasps and catch plates with incised foliate design and dotted background. Head- and footband stitching. Manuscript quire guards. Quires numbered in bottom margin of final verso, mainly trimmed.
Inscriptions/Markings
Hand decoration: Red and green foliate initial with marginal vine decoration (leaf [1]/1r); rubricated, red lombards, headlines, and capital strokes.
Contemporary marginal annotations in several hands, textual divisions, and manicules.
