19th-century blind-tooled full green goatskin over paper boards (28.5 x 21 cm), sewn on 5 supports by Leighton, Brewer St. W. Plain paper pastedowns and endleaves; decorative endbands; gilt edges.

Hand decoration: Contemporary French rubrication, red initials and paragraph marks. Annotations: Minimal marginal notations in text (leaves a1-2 only). Inscripton: "Ad luxonium spectat hec summa ruralum" and another one inked over/illegible, 15th century (leaf aa1r).
