PML copy missing 2 leaves: a1 and ²b6 (blanks), replaced with contemporary leaves with p/quatrefoil watermarks. Shield of Scotland (leaf e7r) cut out and replaced/painted in.

Binding: 
16th-century blind-rolled English (more likely French?) calf over paper boards (27 x 19 cm), sewn on 5 supports; rebacked (Bennett catalogue suggests this is a remboitage binding, recently placed on the text block). Plain paper pastedowns and endleaves; decorative endbands; gilt and gauffered edges. 4 ties, missing. Manuscript fore-edge title in red and blue added after gauffering, probably in 19th century.
