17th-century German blind-stamped pigskin over wooden boards (32.5 x 22 cm.), sewn on 4 supports. Plain paper pastedowns and fly leaves; red edges. 2 clasps, missing.
Inscriptions/Markings: 

Hand decoration: Contemporary south German (Augsburg or Nuremberg?) foliate initials, alternating red and blue initials, yellow capital strokes. Annotations: A few marginal notationis sporadically throughout.
