Modern blind-tooled full brown goatskin over paper boards (28 x 21 cm), sewn on 5 supports by Duprez-Lahey. Marbled paper pastedowns and endleaves, with plain paper endleaves; decorative endbands; gilt edges.
Inscriptions/Markings
Hand decoration: Contemporary Low Countries rubrication, red initials, paragraph marks, capital strokes, and underlining; primary initials in red or blue with blue or brownish penword decoration. Annotations: Contemporary marginal notations, leaf a4r only (perhaps same ink as dated inscription, leaf l6v). Two contemporary inscriptions, in 2 hands: "Deus deus meus" and another with date: "27 Novembris i xiiiv(?)" (leaf l6v).
