15th-century German blind-stamped calf over wooden boards (22 x 15cm), sewn on 3 supports, probably bound in Cologne, with tools similar to those assigned to the Sankt Georg (St. Georg) workshop (EBDB w002491, active 1456-98); rebacked. Modern plain vellum pastedowns. 2 clasps, missing, and evidence of chain hasp. Manuscript titles on fore and top edges.
Inscriptions/Markings
Hand decoration: Contemporary (Cologne?) rubrication, red and blue initials, red paragraph marks and capital strokes. Same rubrication in PML 31838.1. Annotations: No marginal notations in text.
