Sculp, a priest celebrates the consecration during the Mass, while an angel leads a soul from the fires of Purgatory to Christ in glory after the Resurrection, Death (a winged skeleton with scythe) looking on and holding an hourglass; on rear cover the Blessed Virgin intercedes with Christ in glory, enabling angels to carry souls from the fires of Purgatory to Paradise while Death recoils, dropping his hourglass; all within a border of plain and hatched rules.
Two contemporary inscriptions inside front cover, "S. M. Cattedrale" and "Jo. Francesco L. [or Z.?].
