16th-century Italian brown morocco, gold-tooled with foliate design, figure of Fortune holding a sail and standing on a dolphin with tools of the winds in each corner of the cover, perhaps by Pflug & Ebeleben Binder of Bologna (not cited in Nixon, 1971 or Needham, 1979); rebacked.
