The vignettes and the borders enclosing them (in part signed P.V.) are most probably by Pierre Vase, or Du Vase, son Jakob Eskrich, and known also as Petrus Escrichius, or Pierre Cruche; they have been erroneously attributed to Pierre Vingle, and to others.
