Jean-Jacques Lequeu: Visionary Architect. Drawings from the Bibliothèque nationale de France

Six months before he died in poverty and obscurity, architect and draftsman Jean‐Jacques Lequeu (1757–1826) donated one more than 800 drawings, one of the most singular and fascinating graphic oeuvres of his time, to the French Royal Library.

The Morgan Library & Museum announced it has received a promised gift from artist Jim Dine of forty works on paper known as The Glyptotek Drawings. The series was inspired by Greek and Roman sculpture, primarily from the Glyptothek Museum in Munich, and was created in 1987–88.
