Notes: 

Bouquet was a regular contributor to the satirist publication "La Caricature", which flourished between 1830 and 1835. In "Les favoris de la poire", which appeared in no. 124 of "La Caricature", pl. 257, the artist ridicules Louis-Philippe (the pear), depicted flanked by two of his ministers, d'Agoult and Barthe.
