Print shows a nocturnal scene with a young witch at right, standing before a fire with a goat at her side; she is wielding a short wand and pouring powder from a horn into a cauldron as she conjures a crowd of grotesque and fantastical demons at left, one of whom, in the foreground, smokes a pipe over a deck of cards.
