Binding: 
French (Lyon or Paris) mid-16th century dark green gilt-tooled morocco with interlace stained black, perhaps by Mahieu Aesop Binder (only 2 tools shared from Aesop bindery but overall design is not similar to Aesop; previously attributed to Etienne Roffet). Gilt edges. 2 ribbon ties, missing.
