Saying he is sorry to hear of Marion's illness and discussing the approval of the illustrations; saying "Cassells asked me to approve the page of the book. I refused to do so. I said that I much preferred to leave the entire architecture of the book to the artist. They will therefore consult you. I will also tell you that they will soon be wanting those illustrations from you. We are going away on June 30th for two months - France and Italy."
