Variants are known with titles and capitals masked during printing for adding by hand in presentation copies (CIBN A-410).
The last quire (dedicatory letter and colophon) is not found in all copies, probably because the flight and proscription of Piero de' Medici shortly after the publication of the book caused the dedication to be suppressed (BMC).

Binding: 
18th-century English gilt-tooled olive morocco over paper boards (25.5 x 17 cm), sewn on 5 supports, perhaps by Roger Payne. Gilt-tooled morocco turn-ins with dark red paper panels and endleaves, with additiona plain paper endleaves; plain endbands; gilt edges.
Inscriptions/Markings: 

Hand decoration: Contemporary illumination, foliate border with putti and sporting scenes (leaf A2r; similar to Piero de' Medici dedication copy described by Van Praet, p. 64, no. 2) and illuminated initials. Annotations: No marginal notations in text.
