A nimbed Caesarius, wearing deacon's vestments and holding a book, stands in a windowed room in front of a tapestry inscribed SANCTE CESAR MARTIR CHRISTI INTERCEDE PRO NOBIS AD DOMINICUM NOSTRI IHESUM CHRISTUM DIGNI EFFICIAMUR PROMISSIONIBUS CHRISTI OREMUS.
The margins are decorated with floreate ornament. The heraldic shield of Pierre de Bosredont (quarterly vair and gules) is in the lower margin,
