The Morgan Library & Museum provides photographic reproductions and grants reproduction rights for items in its collections. 35 mm color slides for projection and study, 8 x 10 inch black-and-white photographs and large format color transparencies for study and publication, and black-and-white microfilm for study only are available.

The Morgan also has a small number of existing digital images of Medieval and Renaissance manuscripts available, but is currently unable to provide new digital images for most of its collections.

The Morgan's sale of a reproduction does not grant authorization to publish it. Permission to publish reproductions of or quotations from collection items must be obtained in writing from the Morgan, and/or the owner of copyright.

Please make all inquiries regarding photography and rights in writing.
