Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, decorated crossed nimbus, eyes closed, wearing long loincloth, is affixed with four nails to cross decorated with foliate ornament. Blood issues from wounds.
Above arms of cross, Personifications of Sun and Moon, enclosed in medallions, flank Him.
Below arms, He is flanked by Virgin Mary, decorated nimbus, veiled, right hand at breast, indicating Christ with left hand, and Evangelist John, decorated nimbus, holding both hands to his face.
In lower portion of miniature, Te Igitur is written in gold letters decorated with foliate ornament.
