Birds Face to Face II transports you to a universe filled with lush vegetation and colourful animals. This beautiful European jacquard tapestry cushion cover is based on a William Morris work, entitled Strawberry Thief, 1883. One of his most popular designs: he depicts thrushes that were stealing fruit in his country home garden. William Morris, the famous English artist has designed many fabrics and tapestries of world renown many of which now reside in the world's most prestigious museums. Morris looked to the earlier era of artisan craft and beauty and sought to replicate the joys of handmade fiber arts.
