On the Road

Director: Walter Salles
Based on Jack Kerouac's provocative novel, this special preview screening of On the Road tells the story of Sal Paradise (Sam Riley), a young writer whose life is shaken and ultimately redefined by the arrival of Dean Moriarty (Garrett Hedlund), a free-spirited, fearless, fast talking Westerner, and his girl, Marylou (Kristen Stewart). Also starring Amy Adams, Kirsten Dunst, Viggo Mortensen, and Steve Buscemi. Screenwriter Jose Rivera will answer questions after the screening, moderated by Isaac Gewirtz, Curator, Berg Collection, The New York Public Library. An IFC Films/Sundance Selects Release.
