GLASS: a portrait of Philip in twelve parts (2007, 119 minutes)
Director: Scott Hicks
Oscar-nominated and Emmy Award-winning director Scott Hicks (Shine) spent eighteen months following Philip Glass across three continents, capturing all aspects of the legendary composer's life. Allowed unprecedented access to Glass's working process, family life, spiritual teachers, and collaborators (including Martin Scorsese, Woody Allen, and Chuck Close), Hicks creates a remarkable mosaic portrait of this surprising and complex artist. Wednesday, February 23, 2011, 7 p.m.
