wood engraving
112 x 60 mm
Peel 2153
Provenance:
Formerly owned by Sir Robert Peel.

The identical image appeared in Figaro in London, no. 4, 1831, with the same title.

Summary:

Brougham as a fairy skips from the "Wool" Sack. He has butterfly-wings, a wreath of roses, a short petticoat formed of the Purse of the Great Seal, and his wand is the mace.
