The subjects of Gillray's caricature are tentatively identified by George and Wright & Evans as the three eldest daughters of Sir William Manners (Lord Huntingtower) (1766-1833): Louisa, m. Sir J. Burke, 1816; Catherine Camilla, m. Sir George Sinclair 1816; Emily Frances, d. 1864.
Summary:
Print shows three tall young women holding each other by the arm, their figures defined under trailing, high-waisted, short-sleeved, and low-necked muslin gowns. All are dressed alike with close-fitting caps, scarves twisted round the neck, and long gloves. All have parasols, but two are closed. There is a background of trees.
