Composition game comprises 2 identical handcolored backdrop plates, with several slits, depicting a mountain range; 47 handcolored cut-out pieces with tabs that fit into the slits, depicting trees, houses, people, animals, and boats (2 boats lacking); and 6 lithographic plates printed in sepia, providing ideas for potential landscape arrangements (13.7 x 16.5 cm) The 2 backdrop plates have the cut-out pieces already installed, while the remaining pieces and their corresponding model plates are housed in 4 envelopes.
Binding:
Publisher's 1/4 red cloth portfolio with white paper boards, floral decorations and titles stamped in green. The cut-out cover with glassine window forms a frame for the assembled picture. Tan linen cord. (29 x 32.7 cm)
