French card game, an imitation of a favorite Athenian game called Stephanos (crown). It comprises 39 cards, decorated with hand-colored wreaths of flowers, and 39 ivory counters in white, red, and purple. Printed directions in French attached to inside of lid, and a modern, handwritten English translation is included in the box.
