16 wooden red and green squails (discs) 1 swoggle (triangular ruler) 1 procese (lead medal) stamped with a double headed eagle and 419, and the original rules, contained in a wooden box.
Squail was first published by John Jaques of London in 1857. It was played on a round table and the objective was to hit discs with the heel of the hand from the edge of the table at a small lead target in the center.
