Game comprising five hand-colored engraved cards, one of which is a white horse, a sheet of rules, eight dice, and twenty-two round glass counters (should be 21 according to Gumuchian).
One of the cards shows a bell dated 1837 with the name A. Monier.
Dice marked 1-6 and 2 with figures.
Binding:
Original decorated paper box; lithograph on upper lid of woman and children playing the game; embossed gilt trim around edges. In a slipcase by Julia Wightman of half rose levant and sides covered with Nuremberg flock paper (design of horse and animals) dated 1946.
