The Department of Drawings and Prints seeks an assistant to help maintain the extensive curatorial files that pertain to the Morgan’s collection of more than 10,000 drawings and prints made before 1900.
The volunteer program works to match the Morgan's needs with the skills of qualified candidates. Volunteer opportunities are available in many departments. The Registrar's Office is seeking a volunteer with previous experience in a museum Registrar's Office, to provide general clerical support in furtherance of the day-to-day operations of the department
This is a great opportunity for people who are interested in merchandising and retail sales. Volunteers are needed to work in the Morgan's Shop on Thursdays.
Volunteers will join a team of people who help enhance the visitor experience by providing information about the Morgan, its collections and exhibitions, and by answering questions related to membership.
