Notes: 

Ms. vellum leaf with full-page drawings on recto and verso; painted in Salzburg, Austria, in the second third of the 12th century.
The illustrations are probably from the De nuptiis Philologiae et Mercurii of Marianus Capella or the De consolatione philosophiae of Boethius.
According to Georg Swarzenski the leaf belongs to the "Liutold Group of manuscripts, one of which was made for Eberhardt, Archbishop of Salzburg from 1147 to 1164--Cf. Nineteenth report to the Fellows of the Pierpont Morgan Library, 1978-1980.
