Notes:

This drawing was believed to be the work of Juan Carreño de Miranda when it was acquired, but the attribution was rejected by Cristina Aguero Carnerero in her catalogue of Carreño's drawings. Moreover, the inscription on the drawing is in Italian rather than Spanish, so the sheet is most likely by an Italian draftsman, as yet unidentified.

Associated names:

Carreño de Miranda, Juan, 1614-1685, Formerly attributed to.
